Hello... Just checking in I know it's been a while. 

Hope you all are following me on Instagram @MelissaFFF. I'm considering returning to the blog world soon. 

Today I opted for a shift dress. Normally I would shy away from this style of dress because I always thought it would show too much of my problem area "the tummy". However it did a great job of hiding it, with the help of good shape wear lol. If I''m being honest I really didn't need too much convincing with a price tag of $16. So if you're like me and you're unsure of trying different shape dresses buy them on sale and you won't think twice about it. Who knows you just may find the perfect new shape that works well for your curves.

Let's talk about the wrap dress ladies... Every woman should own at least one in their lifetime. Look who's giving advice lol I must say I've recently realized how true that statement really is. The wrap dress is over four decades old, but in today's environment it is as relevant as ever.

Regardless of shape or size, molding to the body at the bust and waist as tightly as one wish the wrap dress is definitely a girls best friend.

As of late I've been rethinking how I buy/choose items for my wardrobe. I ask myself will I wear this piece again or what can I pair with it.? If the answer is no I leave it. Before I would run to the sale section of the store or the drop down link online. Now I shop smarter not cheap. Although my closet has gotten smaller the possibilities are endless. I have blogger "The Tiny Closet" to thank for my new minimalist approach to fashion.

Well I'm back with my second post of 2016!!! Thought I'd add a bit of color to my life :)

With my 37th birthday vastly approaching  I thought I'd do some shopping with all the upcoming festivities. Seeing as though I celebrate the entire month of July (team cancer). This red/orange number will definitely be a hit at one of many birthday dinners.

Pardon my absence ... I took the entire summer off from blogging.

I must say over the years I've lost my passion for it . The blog world can be so stressful at times trying to stand out from the rest or at times asking myself should I just blend in . As you all know my faith in God is strong and that will never change . I began to ask God in prayer for guidance to show me my way again , I asked that he help me broaden my perspective so I can experience the full life he has for me. If you too have lost your vision or your passion for something I ask that You give it to God in prayer and he'll show You the way again .

I'm so happy about today's post ... As a woman with curves I can't tell you how excited I was when Nadia Aboulhosn dropped her collection . Finally a designer who gets us . Being a blogger there's always a new trend. Last year sometime the tuxedo dress was a must have and all the top bloggers were rocking em. Well almost all of them .... Not one curvy girl rocked it . Until now !!!!! Well it's obvious Nadia felt the same when she sat down with her design team . So the wait is over curvy girls we now have  "TheTuxedo Dress for Curves".

Everyone has that one color  they fall in love with each spring /summer . For me it's Coral "The New Neutral" I like to call it lol. Throw it on with a head to toe  denim look , that navy dress that's been hanging in your closet too long or opt for a blush tone similar to what I'm rocking. You'll definitely stand out in the crowd .

After a month away from blogging I'm happy to say that I'm back and here to stay . As a personal style blogger I think it's important to take a break from time to time . During my break I cleaned out my closet got rid of alot of things that were just collecting dust. My newly revamped closet looks alot like todays look , simple pieces that can be layerd or look just as fab alone . I challenge my readers to do the same . What?? are you holding on to that you need to get rid of !??  clothes, shoes, relationships , grudges etc . . let it all go so you can get back to you.
