Happy Sunday!!!!
As I'm starting week 12 of Clean Eating and slowly approaching the 30lb weightlost mark I thought it would be great to share with you all how I got started . First things first you have to find a plan that works for you ... Next do your research !!!!! Google, by books , ask friends etc... Now that you have done your research lets get started . If you're like me and have chosen Clean Eating as your new plan great !!! Here are a few tips to help you along the way .
Go into to the plan thinking positive ... Focus on the foods you can eat rather than focusing on the ones you'll be giving up . Now it's time to shop . You will only need to shop the perimeter of the grocery store (outside the aisle) meaning fresh poultry & fresh produce ONLY!!!! eggs (NO Cheese) the only thing you need to shop the aisle for is Mrs Dash seasoning, Olive Oil ,Rice and Peanut butter (Peanut butter & Co white chocolate wondeful is yummy and Natural)
Now it's time to prep your meals for the week (Lunch ) choose a lean protein (4/oz No red Meat) choose a veggie choose a grain (1/2 Sweet pot, 1/2Bake pot, 1/2 cup Brown rice , 1/2 cup Quiona) portion control is key just because it's healthy doesn't mean to over indulge . Breakfast (oatmeal-whole grain waffles, toast ,eggs fruit etc..) and Dinner (No grains Only protein and veggies) is usually prepared fresh . Dessert (Strawberries, Grapefruit are my Favs)
