My Faith.....

Happy Monday!!!!

This months series of "My Faith" is all about health. After last months not so good doctors report I knew it was time for me to get on the right track . The first thing I did was pray , I asked God to make me over not only physically but mentally . Before any lifestyle/diet  change could  happen I knew I had to get my thought processs together . I immediately blocked out all the negative thoughts ... I have no time to cook , what if I fail again , I'll never be back to my pre- wedding size , girl just embrace those curves/ extra pounds .

The next step was choosing the right eating plan that worked for me . So I went back to what I know  "Clean Eating" (unprocessed my life) This way of eating is not a diet , there's no counting calories , no point system etc....  Basically fresh fruit , fresh produce, nuts, and lean meats (no beef) and no dairy .

My goal is to live a healthier life . This time around I made up in my mind this can't be a diet this has to be a lifestyle change , and I know that with prayer and support from my family I will reach my goal weight so I can live a long healthy life . If you want tips or meal ideas  follow me on Instagram @melissafff or feel free to email me with any questions . Lets all motivate each other :)

Prayer of the Day
Heavenly Father, thank You for the strength to make it through any challenge I may face. I choose to put my trust in You. I declare that You are good and faithful. Thank You for equipping me for victory in every area of my life in Jesus' name . Amen.

AMEN!!! I really needed to see this today, I have fallen off the weight-loss wagon too many times to count but I keep getting back up. I know like you said I have to change my thinking and pray to God for help because it is so much easier to not eat healthy or exercise, but you have to do it.

My eating isn't bad (there is room for improvement) I have to work out more. My excuse is time, but I know I can squeeze in time even if it's 10-15min several days a week I know I need to do something.

Thank you for posting this because not only did it encourage me on my weight-loss journey but just in life in general. It's all about having faith in God and trusting Him to give you the strength to keep going and to overcome!!

Congrats on your journey! I'm going through the same things by trying to eat cleaner. Sometimes support makes the journey better!

This post was so needed in my life right now! I am so undisciplined and inconsistent. I desire to do better, but sometimes feel so helpless. Paul talks about this in Romans 7:14-25...I desire to do what I am supposed to do, but temptation is just right there with me!! You are right on track...we need the blood of Jesus to overcome all of these issues!! Thank you for this!

I find clean eating to be the best way for me as well. Everything else just falls into place after that. I hate it at times because I'm always cooking but it's worth it. Keep up the good work boo!
